A group of Jordanian investors established “Modern Technology Ready-mix Concrete (BLOCKS JORDAN)” on 29.06.2006 as a company with limited liability. This company is registered under No. 18925 with a capital of eight and a half million Jordanian dinars (JD 8.5 million). The infrastructure and civil works and installations were all completed by the end of 2007 and production is expected to start by the beginning of 2008.
In theory, our work is based on producing high quality ready-mix concrete, according to the latest state-of-the-art technology in this field. For this purpose, the Company bought, in June 2007, such German-made modern heavy-duty machines for ready-mix concrete production (VIBRO BLOCK). The production capacity of these machines reaches 120,000 blocks per eight hours of operation.
All phases of production are fully automated, starting from preparing the materials by using hoppers (?) and scales to yield homogeneous mixes through cylindrical and screw-type/spiral mixing approaches for optimal integration of the components. The output is moved by conveyor belts to power presses. The pressing strength stands at 137 tons per meter along with simultaneous vibration strength of 3800 per minute. The product, which becomes ready after 8 hours in drying ovens and meets the highest Jordanian standard specifications in terms of breaking and absorption, is moved on conveyor belts to these steam-operated furnaces.
BLOCKS JORDAN has expedited purchases of heavy-duty transportation vehicles, which are equipped with loading and unloading 16-meter long winches, to fully operate at a national level.
This factory is one of the largest of its type in the Middle East Region and is the third worldwide in terms of quality and capacity of production.
BLOCKS JORDAN looks forward to producing various types of regular blocks/bricks and interlock tiles according to highest Jordanian and global specifications, in addition to manufacturing lightweight blocks, which will constitute a replacement shift in the architectural constructions in Jordan. To this end, BLOCKS JORDAN - jointly with expert geologists, hasted to establish a natural raw minerals company with the aim of receiving supplies of zeolite which forms the basis of lightweight block industry.
